Crazy Busy Fall!!

I am so thankful for all the wonderful clients I have grown over the fall season.  It has been a very crazy and busy few months for me and I am finally catching up on some blogging.  So here are some of my wonderful clients from this fall!

Cassie & Bodi; Engagment Session, Columbus, NE

I am a little behind on my blogging and I apologize for this.  So let me catch up by starting with my good friend Cassie & her fiance Bodi.  It was a overcast, misty day, but we made the best of it!!  I am so excited for Cassie & Bodi and cannot wait for their wedding day!!  These two made this engagements session so much fun with all the goofing off with each other, that I am sure their wedding day will not disappoint.  Congrats and may the future be wonderful for you both!

Ryan; 9 months

Last weekend I had a wonderful repeat client, little Ryan.  This session was a lot more fun now that Ryan is old enough to be on the go.  I don't mind chasing the little ones!  He just wanted to play with my clips that hold my backgrounds.  I look forward to seeing Ryan in the future and watching him grow!

Amanda & Jared; Columbus, NE Engagement Session

I know it has been awhile since I blogged. Between my daughters softball, basketball and my volleyball, the extra time is spent with appointments and editing. I had such a pleasure working with Amanda and Jared. Can't wait to see them again for their wedding in September!!

Romshek Girls; Bellwood, NE

Last week I met up with some cute little Romshek girls with some attitude!!  These two were a handful.  We went a couple miles north of Bellwood for an outdoor session that was bug filled and crazy......Danica wanted to run and Bianca wanted one picture and done.  But in the end we got a few shots!!  Check them out!

Crave Photography Workshop

Well, I know that I have been slacking in the blog department lately, but I just finished an excited workshop with Andee at Crave Photography and have to share.  I know that I myself have struggled with the editing process and that I have sold myself short in the past.  I am so excited about the way edits her photos and her workflow, that I know it will change the way I edit in the future.  It is also good to hear about her struggles in the beginning because it makes me know that I am not alone in this learning process.  I didn't go to school for photography, everything I know was self taught by books and a photography class at Southeast Community College Continuing Education courses.  I have always thought about going back to school, but then I know there would be no time for my family and I don't want to do that to them as I believe that I can learn a lot by just picking up a book.  Anyway, I wanted to share my quick edits I did while learning from Andee last night.  It was a little tough to work while she was talking because I was always taking notes, so these are far from perfect, but a step in the right direction!!!

Emma; Columbus, NE

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Emma.  Let me first say that this little girl has a job when she is old enough to work.  This little diva knows how to work the camera.  "Can I do it my way now?  Can I stand the way I want to now?"  I don't think I have ever laughed so hard!  She is a doll and can't wait for our next session!!

I was so excited about my session this evening, I had to edit their photos as soon as I got home.  I got some new backgrounds a few weeks ago and finally got to try them out.  Here they are!

It was great to see how big Ryan has gotten since I last seen him at his 6 week old session.  He still has that adorable hair and he was a smiley little guy, through the spit up and all!!
